The Birdwing Natural Wood Mini Insect Display Box combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with the natural benefits of Hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood. Handcrafted in Japan by Birdwing, the most renowned insect drawer maker in the country, this premium box is trusted by collectors, researchers, and museums worldwide.

Measuring 9 ¾" x 7 ⅞" x 2 ⅜" (249mm x 199mm x 60mm), this display box is slightly deeper than the painted version, providing extra space for mounted specimens.

  • Inner dimensions: 8 ⅞" x 6 ⅞" x 1 ⅝" (224mm x 175mm x 41mm), with an additional ¼" (6mm) layer of high-density polyethylene foam for secure pinning and long-term specimen stability.

  • Natural Japanese Hinoki wood: Unpainted and left in its natural state. Hinoki is prized for its natural resistance to fungus, pests, and bacteria, offering additional protection for delicate specimens.

  • UV-protected glass lid: Fitted with a UV-blocking film to slow fading and discoloration.

  • Pest-resistant construction: The interlocking lid closes tightly to help keep insects out (note: pests introduced with specimens cannot be prevented).

  • Handcrafted finish: Each box is carefully made by Japanese artisans, showcasing the beauty and durability of Hinoki wood.

商品が本やポスターの場合はオンデマンド印刷で、アメリカの印刷会社で印刷され、直接お客様あてに発送されます。
